I've been crocheting for 8years, and I learned how to knit last year (following your tutorials). It warms my heart to see you crocheting 🧶🧶🧶

Kristin - thank you for this. I have searched KZbin for a tutorial for this stitch and it’s increases and decreases and I believe you are the first to do this. Hooray!!

Hello Kristin, 😊 I too have been spending time with crocheting. It’s been about eight years since I began knitting and dropped crochet. But I am happy to be back with crochet, as well. I found this stitch instructions to be very helpful. I know it will help others too. Can’t wait to see your project! StitchedbyMimi

I think a crochet revolution is happening! I love how rhythmic it is and how I have something to show for my work in a short time. And if I choose to rip back so to speak, it’s so much easier!

Please excuse my horrific cuticles. It was not a good nail day. 😬

I‘ve never heard of this stitch before, thank you for sharing! But omg, english crochet terms are very confusing. In Germany we have Luftmasche = air stitch (chain), feste Masche = firm stitch (single crochet) and Stäbchen = little bar/rod (double crochet) and I think that’s very descriptive. 😂 To be fair, it’s probably more the american/british thing what baffles me.

For me, crochet instructions feel a bit like the Wild West. 😂 Though, I like the German way of giving each stitch a unique, descriptive name! Definitely makes more sense!
