@king kong i made something similar using a iso i hade and it didn’t work but i then used the one on Microsoft’s website and it did so it will depend on the iso you use but i made it auto install Edge Dev and Chrome

probably when NTLite exports the WIM to pack it into the ISO it uses a different compression method that is not as effective as the one MS used to ship the WIMs in their Windows setup discs

I did this with XP and Vista years ago. I didn't have 7 so nothing there. I didn't bother with 8 or 10. How much faster in percentage would you say it adds? A range of course depending on what I install.

*@nick* Somethings will and somethings don't, it's because of the way upgrading to a newer version of windows 10 works It will keep user settings and export them to a new installation of windows ( iso ) that is provided by microsoft, so that means you WILL lose settings this only happens to feature updates aka upgrades, NOT security patches Solutions to this problem is by making a custom iso for the next best feature update after your version has lost support (aka not getting security patches). so that means that you have to make a custom iso every 2 years*. Or you can just use LTSC and not have worry, but that's piracy (because no consumer can get a legal copy, you need to be a professional in IT and have a company with at least 4 people and contact a 3rd party retailer and pay 300$), i leave the choose up to you.
