I’m sorry I didn’t really use an exact recipe, but I can give you a rough estimate. 1 whole plantain, maybe half a calabasa squash, half a malanga and maybe 8-9 yautia Blanca. The majority of the masa should be green banana. Everything is to taste and it also depends on how many pasteles you are making. Don’t forget the banana leaves!

Hi! Pasteles take approximately 1.5 hours to cook. Usually I cook them for a little longer than that, just to be sure. When cut open, you’ll see meat on the inside. Thanks for watching!
