Except if you have a nice gearshift truck and you go to a big city that's anywhere near a port, and the gangs use one of those repo man's wreckers to just lift it up and take it away with your wheels not even on the ground and throw it in a container headed in under 24hrd for another continent, where lots of people drive gearshifts. I'm trying to figure out whether I could apply so much antiseize on the lower sides of my frame rails to prevent that, but that'd be hideous when I need to get under the truck to work on the truck. So I don't take my truck anyplace in big cities with ports. But I don't have a crap box second car yet. So I don't go to big cities near ports which is a shame because I like Montreal which isn't all that far over the VT border from where I live. Gotta keep thinking how I can use the antiseize for my application.

No way they’re gonna touch those hooks to unhook it from the tow truck, you find your vehicle still attached to it and pay the tow truck driver to bring it home for you. Also, reimburse him for the tow hooks which are now a permanent decoration on your vehicle 👐

I've always found things like old crisco or wire-pulling-lube close at hand. I don't think that I'll ever get desperate enough to try anti seize. Even if I eventually got my hands clean I'd probably have silver-gray man parts literally forever. I'm not sure that the chicks would be into that. But I'm a weirdo and I'm attracted to weird chicks anyways and when I don't hide my inner weirdo, weird chicks seem drawn to me and drag me to their beds. Back in my USAF flightline days, we used to put goose grease (silicone grease) on various parts of the expeditor truck. Usually, once you got them once, they checked everything else. Not this one guy, Cory. He got in and grabbed the wheel to pull himself in. Aw, Man! He wipes his hands and cleans off the wheel. We're in the back laughing. 😊 Did he check anything else? Nope! He reaches for the seat adjuster, because we had set it forward. Aw, Man! Now we're really laughing!😅 Now he checks, right? Nope! He starts the truck and grabs the shifter - Aw, Man! I designed an engine immobilizer that lets you steal the car but shuts it off as soon as you hit a major road. An add-on was a pump that squirts ATF into the exhaust header 10 seconds before the engine dies. Most theives will assume a blown engine and will not likely stick around and try to repair a stolen vehicle on a busy road.

As a machinist many guys played tricks on each other in the shop. One was to put blueing under their tool box handle or truck handle. It was a creamy blue substance used to fit mold and die halves together to show the high spots. It never dries. Very similar result. Difficult to remove.

I'll never forget the owner of the hot rod shop that I worked at getting angry because the customer's truck wouldn't start so he could drive it out of the shop. I still have a copper work coat from winter 2007. 3 months after being put in charge of neverseizeing and torqueing over 30,000 bolts to spec for the entire job at a Houston petrochemical plant, my entire work FR wardrobe was copper. I ran emissions tests for GM on their V8 's from engine stands against an engine dynamometer. The exhaust manifold flange studs & nuts were Stainless steel and every test required a 20 minute warm up plus a torque mapping of every single engine. So before the emissions test the engine ran a warm up, and a torque map and then the actual test. After those 3 runs if you didn't have Permatex's silver Antisieze on those manifold studs and nut threads they would be scrap.

Unfortunately this doesn't stop wheel and window immobilization devices, or tow trucks, or even the handy man with a big trailer and winch. But those can be solved with cleverly placed large amounts of acetone peroxide. It's a disabler immobilizer, while not recognized by many countries due to severe injury, it does work quite well.
