Oh Catherine…. I couldn’t wait til morning to make these …so.. I decided not to go to bed 🛌 & make them now & OMG….HOW… did you keep all that hot 🥵 oil UNDER CONTROL… ?… mine just jumped all over the moon 🌙 but that’s ok 👍🏻 bcuz I’m sure the end will justify the means… CANT WAIT TO….GO IN…. As you say…they are cooling waiting for mama to glaze & eat .. 😋 ty so much .. it was fun … only wish my husband was still alive to share this with me …. I dont know if you've made this before but I was watching your recipe for kool aid no-bake pie and it reminded me of something my great grandma used to make all the time (she's still alive, she just doesn't make it much anymore). It's cottage cheese, kool aid, crushed pineapple, and cool whip! It's soooo good. One of my favorite desserts at holidays! I forget what she calls it though.

Oh my goodness this what I call doable. I have never made them. This recipe I think I can do. I just found your channel a couple of months ago. I have cooked more of your recipes than anybody else on KZbin. Your recipes are easy, delicious and I can cut them down for 2 people. I have always made for 6 or more people. Well life happens and children move out and unfortunately I lost my husband and my mom lost my dad. So it just worked out and now we live together. I do all the cooking and my mom doesn't like leftovers. Lol. My sons says really, I grew up on leftovers. Lol. Sorry I didn't mean to go on. Now it’s no secret that I LOVE me some apple fritters will be trying these as soon as it gets cool enough here in central Florida to make them. It’s been beastly hot , and getting hotter every year. Y’all are precious, and the fritters look divine. I love shredding my apples for this, and I have seen a recipe that you alluded to where there were multiple rises of a yeast though. That’s not how we country folk make apple fritters! Yours look amazing. I’m going to steal your recipe and perhaps keep my shredded apples. But I’m gonna try them once with diced!
