Hi Sabina! Great video, thanks so much for this! I recently purchased the same printer that you have. Do you have a video/any tips on colour matching with this printer? I use the same scanner as you as well (Epson V600), and my art on the computer looks the same as the original....however when I print it out it's quite off and I cannot seem to figure it out! Any tips are really appreciated :D

Thank you for this! I am a beginner in digital arts and currently selling customized prints. Currently, I am just outsourcing for them to be printed on a glossy photo paper with 1 inch white border and then put it black frame. May I ask why you prefer matte finish for your digital artworks? hi Sabina, is there a specific reason that you cut your paper into the desired size instead of just ordering packets in those sizes? Is it because you want to get more bang for your buck, or does Epson just not carry all of the different sizes you need? Thanks!

Thanks Sabina. I had the Canon pixma pro1. The problem with that printed was that its have to be on allways and once in a week did a auto cleansing that use ink. The ink cost about 400 usd for all the colors. I manage to print 4 -A3 and i was run out of ink . I ended up trowing it. what about the new printers its the ink quite spansive as before?

I've been painting for a few years now on every size and shape of canvas. Now that I want to print, I realize that I have to crop and resize everything to fit certain paper sizes. Are there canvas sizes that work best for certain paper sizes with less work resizing? A video on that would be great, if you think anyone else might be interested.

Thanks a lot Sabina! I currently purchased a canon 200 and i also got epson paper (hot pressed 330g/m) and I was wondering what are the settings you use since the paper is not a canon paper. I've been printing some stuff and the quality is super good, but they usually look somehow washed out. I've been using the setting paper photo matte. Thanks again!

thank you! Yes it does, but they also give me the freedom to explore new things with my art and continue developing my art as I go. It takes much less time than a part-time job would for example, but it pays a full-time income for me. Once you find a good process you can find ways to speed things up :)

Thank you Jennifer!! :) so the 17x22 actually makes two sheets of 11x14” paper! Since 22 divided by 2 is 11 it’s almost perfect haha I have the mailing info in my packing video but I use 9x12 mailers for 8x10 and 12x15” mailers for 11x14 :) I reinforce the 11x14 ones a little though because a few of them arrived damaged

Hi Sabina! Thank you for this video--super helpful. I bought the same printer recently, and was wondering if you print directly from Photoshop? When I print directly from Photoshop with the correct adjustments (paper size, alignment, etc), the image is printed a little off-centered and/or slightly larger, so it's not perfectly scaled to fit the paper. Not sure if you had this issue, but if you did I would really appreciate it if you could let me know what you did to fix the issue. Thank you!

Do you paint at a big size and then scale down to sell smaller-size prints or do you know of a good way to enlarge artworks painted at a smaller size? Hi! thank you! I don't have a varnish or anything as it would likely damage the paper. I always recommend to my customers that they frame the artwork behind glass, but my art prints are giclée so with proper care they won't fade. Humidity is a concern when it comes to paper of course but that's when it's important to have them framed to keep the moisture out (like in a bathroom!)

Does wrong paper cause color fading ? I just got my pixma pro100 and I just use some random paper to test print and the color isn’t pretty at all.. I wonder if it’s the paper or I have to do some setting ? I only have ipad can I use that for setting for my printer? Thank you advance!!

Thank you for this video. How do you decide if you should leave white border or not on different sizes?

it's just a personal preference and depends on your art style! A little border is nice to provide some relief to detailed prints and prevent any part of the print getting cut off during framing, but it's not necessary. I like to have a small border on my prints and with the sizes I print with my canon printers I'm not able to print borderless in every size so that's also the reason why I keep them

I was wondering if I want to sell a print, is it a good idea to paint that size or larger? So that the image quality is not reduced if you sell a larger size than the painting? @@sabinafennart Many artists use plain pencil. I personally used Sakura ink pens, but they faded too!
