How long will the soaps remain green? You showed them at 5 months. Any ideas on how to keep them green longer? I'm new to hot process and the melt and pour method. I've made cold proces avocado saops and they have retained their green color really well. Maybe it's the lye but so far so good.

Transparent melt and pour soap is a soap base that has already gone through a full saponification process (the chemical reaction that makes lye safe for the skin). Therefore, it only takes about an hour for the soap to cure and be ready for use instead of waiting 4-6 weeks. This is a simplified approach to making soap at home. Transparent soap bases for melting and pouring are used by people who like to make their own soap, or even by children who are learning how to make soap. Indicated on the packaging are: Glycerin, distilled water, sorbitol, sucrose, sodium stearate, alcohol dent. Sodium laureth sulphate, sodium laurate, sodium lauryl sulphate, sodium myristate, laureth-11, carboxylic acid, potassium stearate, potassium laureate, potassium myristate, sodium hydroxide, tetrasodium tidronate, aloe barbadensis leaf extract. You can get the soap here, from amazon or any DIY shop in your area: www.vedaoils.com/products/transparent-melt-and-pour-soap-base#:~:text=Transparent%20soap%20bases%20allow%20soap%20makers%20to%20transform,melt%20them%20in%20a%20mold%20of%20their%20choice.
