Seasoned-baked eggs are one of many unique Lao snacks. In most Lao-American homes, we use the oven to cook the eggs but traditionally, they are steamed and bbq'ed over coals because ovens were and still are, a rare commodity. This recipe is very easy to make but takes a little bit of patience! I recommend making some other snacks to go with it as I did in this video which totally makes the time go faster!
