To get your closeup focus, put your hand or a piece of cardstock just behind the item, so the camera cant 'see' anything but your item. I also suggest splitting your income three ways (four, if you need to pay sales tax). One part, profit. One part, paying for current supplies and overhead. Third part pays for expansion of stock/improvement. Fourth, calculate the amount of sales tax and set that aside FIRST. Make sure it all gets carefully recorded in detail, every single day. Great job, hope youre still having fun!!

Thank you so much for this great video! I was looking for a Halloween class party idea and thought keychains would be a good idea (with Halloween themed beads) but didn't know how to make them. I really appreciate your thoughtful walk through of all the steps, including the last knot because if you hadn't said something I would have tied it with the ends going two different directions. I hope Maddie was able to get her car!

Thanks for the video you did a good job- I do have a question - why do you leave so much at the end after you tied it off? It seems like it might be sharp or something? But you gave a through explaination overall.

That’s just how I prefer to do it! You can do it as short as you want, I just don’t want to worry about the knot coming out if the strings are too short! That is just my preference though!

You can also get the beads with numbers on them and make keychains for kids to carry around their parents/emergency numbers if they get lost. Just an FYI.

That’s how I do mine, but if you didn’t want to do yours like that, you could crimp the end with a crimp bead and pliers. Then there wouldn’t be any string showing, but I don’t know a way to add more.
