I can attest to beer soap, my face loves it and i had mild acne! I just made a Guinness Beer with Shea butter. The previous one I made was using Bud Light. I did not boil my beer. I got a cold one, opened it, put it in the fridge for an hour, then froze it . Nothing bubbled or volcano. Can't wait to unmold it!

Looks fun! Going to try! I don't drink but apparently Cincinnati has some great local beers and I would love to try it with them.

Would you consider doing a do and don’t video , guess a safety video. New to this and haven’t attempted cause I hear that lye is toxic so a video would be a great thing . Thx so much for teaching me

I have a playlist for beginners, including a lye safety video, I hope it helps and good luck on your soap making journey! kzbin.info/aero/PLKwBMrMlau8fD0Eob8lVI3cHy3B-SEcXu

That is super informative and great to know I will be making this bar soap to sell I just need to know how to make a more bubbly soap
@privacymatters52045 жыл бұрын
lenna Pelayo use castor oil. It makes great bubbles. Use no more than 8% per recipe.

Could you mix goat milk with the beer? Like a 60/40, 50/50, or 20/80?

Old video comment lol hope you see this, great video BTW If i wanna add scent to this how would I go about heating things up a bit? I can never retain scent if I soap under 80 degrees. Thanks :)
@ThreeLittleGoats3 жыл бұрын
You could always heat up your oils, but just remember, once you add your lye and oils together, the batter will heat up because of the sugars in the beer.

you think it'd be alright to blend up the beer cubes to make stirring in the lye easier or would it melting faster because of how its blended be an issue?
@madtabby664 жыл бұрын
I know your post is old, but there's no need. The lye reaction heats up the beer. Personally I always use ice cubes even when using water.
