Honestly my biggest issue with the Bitwig vocoder is that running a single input as modulator / carrier won't allow you to do the same kind of spectral band editing like Ableton's vocoder. I've never been able to get those nice spectral textures out of Bitwig's personally.

Try set it up with a saw and then use a filter EQ on the saw to shape the spectrum 👍

To get such a sound, you need to complete 5 years of studies in sound engineering, get a doctorate and habilitation, then you will know that to get a sound that has long gone out of fashion, you need to use 25 plug-ins and set them appropriately. German engineering. There should be a warning before purchasing. Only for nerds or professionals 😉

lol or you just use it in the classic way with 2 tracks 1 for carrier 1 for modulator and then it’s not a complicated patch any more. What is done in the video can do so much more.
