Very easy to understand! I love that you have a video explaining the pattern since I am very new. I don't have to jump around youtube and hope to get something good. I'll be sticking with your shop. :)

I am making a bobble blanket right now, I wish I would have seen this tutorial with the changing of colors first. It is absolutely beautiful. I will have to try it.

Thanks so much! Wonderful video. I have a question. I love the spacing of your bobbles. But I can’t for the life of me, figure out how many chains to start with, where to insert the first double crochet and how to make them look so perfectly separated at the sides of the work. I’ve seen other videos and they make bobbles right are the border or one stitch in only and I don’t like that look. Could you please explain the count you used? Thanks!

Thanks for the video. Also, I hold my yarn exactly how you do. I have never seen anyone else hold it this way :)

This is great, however I'm having trouble with my bobble yarn showing through while I'm carrying it along can anyone possibly tell me what I can do to fix this please?

Well done on this pattern and your explanation. For this particular swatch how many chains would the beginning row need to be? I'm subscribed to you channel. Looking forward to your next tutorials. Happy Crocheting!

Love this! I'm new to crochet....what do you do with the white to finish it off? Do you just weave in ends as normal?
@haileyhein92597 жыл бұрын
Emily D I would assume that's what you do because the yarn should be secure since you used it for the bobbles ☺

does each row of white bobble have lose ends at each side? or how are you doing the turning chain with the contrasting color?
@DaisyCottageDesigns7 жыл бұрын
I don't carry my white yarn... I weave after each row.

Are you just weaving the bobble color ends on the sides?

I’m working on Minnie Mouse’s skirt right now, following this pattern (red with white bobbles) and the white is really poking through. Am I doing something obviously wrong? It’s been suggested that I cut/weave at each bobble but it seems like there should be an easier solution than that. ;-)
@DaisyCottageDesigns7 жыл бұрын
Hi, Nicholle. I haven't had that problem. What size hook are you using? Are you using worsted weight yarn? I'd probably try using a smaller hook to make things a little tighter, but it might throw off your pattern too much. :/
@nichollelutz23987 жыл бұрын
It's a medium weight (4) 100% acrylic using a 5.5 hook. I feel like I'm already doing it pretty tight, but I'll try going a little tighter. Thank you!
