Thank You So Much! I’ve searched for the kind of corn that my momma always made for all us kids- growing up! And I gave up! Cooking is very near and dear to my heart- since both of my parents are passed now…And I gave up even trying!! But I tell you what!!! I just had a flashback from 30 Years ago!!! And I THANK YOU for taking the time- to post this- because it honestly means so much to me to finally understand HOW she did it!!! (I should have thought simply!☺️☺️) God bless you and your kitchen Ms.Ann❤️💚🧡💙💛

It does, I want to show the family a cheap way to eat also. And still eat good.

Hi Ann. That's a very good way to fix canned corn. The water from the can contains more sodium, so that's a good idea to pour it off of the corn like you did. Thanks for this delicious, healthier way to fix it. Great video, sis...always! 😘

Hey Tamika, I already have several videos on Rutabaga and rice because I eat mine over rice. Please go to my channel, Georgia Cooking For The Soul. Type Rutabaga and Rice, and it should come up.

I like this recipe. When you boil it in the water it's not as flavorful. This way is nice and buttery, far better. Even better, you can use this method for peas, carrots and green beans..

How do I make that cheap Great Value corn more tender and good? I had a pot like that and left the room and burnt that pot to a crisp!!!!😂😂😂😂😂
@georgiacookingforthesoul7 ай бұрын
You were bad on your luck that day, I guess you should have stayed and watched your food. To make a cheap can of corn taste good, you have to drain the corn and rinse it real good the way I showed you in the video. Now, if you have a problem with that, then I suggest canned corn isn't for you.

That was more then a table spoon of sugar

This recipe doesn't call for sugar, sugar is optional. I'm sure I stated that in the video.
