Why did you state that Milk in Challah makes it UNKOSHER? It is not true. Please, do not give incorrect ininformation. You are not misinforming Jews because we know the rules... but, you ARE misinforming non-Jews who do not observe Kosher Dietary Laws so it is an irrelevant, incorrect statement for you to make at all. Challah is a Ceremonial Bread that was commanded to the Jews by Gd to make, to sacrifice and to eat, according to His Laws.

It is totally UNTRUE that adding Milk makes Challah UNKOSHER. PLEASE, Challah IS Kosher with Milk... if the Milk is Kosher, the Challah will be Kosher.... when made with Kosher ingredients. Using Milk in Challah makes it DAIRY instead of PARVE. THE CHALLAH IS STILL KOSHER but, it can't be eaten with a meal which contains MEAT. DAIRY KOSHER CHALLAH can be eaten with a DAIRY KOSHER MEAL.

Hi, I made your recipe and all went well except all I could get was a medium brown color. It cooked to 200degrees in about 35 minutes. Would appreciate any suggestions.Thanks

Try swirling cinnamon sugar and diced apple in the bread. Bake it whole or as mini loaves in muffin tins. For extra yumminess spread warm mini loaf lightly with caramel topping for apple slices.
