Chapatis reminds me of Flour Tortillas. As a child mi Mama would make these delicious tortillas my sisters and brother would line up waiting for the next one to be cooked. The love that was poured into making these tortillas which is a true art made them so delicious and special. Mi Mama has passed on and I have searched for that special delicious tortillas even to Mexico City and I was disappointed that I couldn’t find them. I met Sylvia Dang’ana in December of 2021 she introduced me to her chapati’s which takes a bit more love to create these round delicious tortilla like works of art. It is like mi Mama had sent me a loving Kenyan woman. Sylvia has been a true blessing for my life..her chapatis made with her love continues to make my life wonderful. Forever grateful for the love of Mi Mama Petra and my wife Sylvia. ❤️🇲🇽🇰🇪❤️
