Now this is a great idea! Char Siu is pretty expensive where I am. I have made it "the hard way" before, and messes up a lot of oven trays and racks. I have a frying pan that goes in my oven, so I can give it a little blast at the end for a couple of minutes to try and get a little char on the glaze. This char siu looks perfect for a weeknight! Especially good to keep some left over for making fried rice, bee hoon etc!
