I,m new to baking, but have given these a try. I used smoked paprika instead of mustard, and I had to use a little more flour. Baked for 20 mins at 200 degrees. They came out lovely.

@@margarettapuvae6164 on my digital scales( everyones scales could be different. ) 210grams. Only part if the method l never follow is rolling out with a rolling pin. I dont do it. I find it best to handle scone dough as little as possible and press my dough out by hand before cutting them. Hope this helps.

In the process of making these scones, the cheese I am using is not that strong so I’ve added a couple of teaspoons of Parmesan to liven them up, hope all goes well:-) Update, scones great but stronger cheese next time for me I thing, I managed 25 scones out of my 210g but very small diameter. Keep em coming and don’t give up blogging, it grows in the end.

210 g of flour is the exact measurement like she said on the video. If you use cup, you may go over because 1 cup is equivalent to 120 g.

Yes, it needs a bit more rising agent or they don't really rise well. I thought I could get away without it, and got flat scones.

Hi Sou - I used a medium cheddar cheese for these, it would work with any sort of cheddar or red leicester, which are all British cheeses...I'm not sure how easy these would be to come by in China?!
