Thank you for sharing! This looks very easy but I used vitamix grinder to grind the nips but it doesn’t become powder, it’s like fine sand. How long do you grind it or what’s the total time to grind? Thank you!

You’re welcome ☺️! If you are using a powerful food processor or blender , it should take 10-15 mins and would still have a slightly grainy texture( it still tastes great 😊 ). Make sure your blender is not overheating..turn it off for a few mins and then continue..

Mine was a disaster. I tried using the High Powered Ninja Blender which made the Nibs gummy and unable to continue blending. Next, I transferred the gummy Nib Paste into a Cuisinart Food Processor with an S Blade, but the Nib paste formed into a huge ball of hard Cacao Dough and I was unable to process it any further -even after breaking up the huge ball of dough and blending further. The Hugh Ball of Cacao Dough reformed after 20 seconds and gave me nightmares while I slept. So, I think I will give up now and order Cacao Butter, melt, then add cacao Powder and sweetner, mix and form into a mold. Thanks for the Video. It looks great.

Oh, I’m sorry it didn’t turn out well. Over grinding can lead to a gummy paste that can’t be molded.

I used coconut oil to make the blending process easier. If you have got the required consistency, you can skip oil...

Hey i tried using ghee, but i think it needs to be churned for few more minutes

Excellent. I would like to ask you one question on this, you took 450gm of Cacao nibs and if you don't add sugar or oil into the nibs and if you grind it into stone melanger or your own small grinder, how much Cacao mass you can make out of this 450gm of nibs? Any idea or assumption?
@VividSojourns7 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching! I get around 650-670 gm of chocolate from this recipe. Since you will be using only the nibs(450 gm), you will probably end up with 450 gm of cacao mass?🤔. Let me know🙂

@@VividSojourns can I add coacoa butter instead of coconut oil. And also can I add honey or maple syrup. If so what will be the shelf life.
@VividSojourns2 ай бұрын
You can add cocoa butter. I haven’t used maple syrup but I guess you can . The only thing is adding maple syrup or honey may affect how well the chocolate sets.Regarding shelf life, using honey or maple syrup may reduce the shelf life due to higher moisture content.Pls let me know how it turns out !

I wish I watched your video! I watched a vid where they don't mention you need to grind the nibs and thought why aren't they melting 😅 and it also didn't mention to mix it for 10 minutes, i will try your recipe next 🙌🏼

Why add coconut oil? Wouldn't the cocoa butter already be part of the nibs?
@VividSojourns8 ай бұрын
It is to make the blending process easier. If you are able to blend it without the oil, you can skip it.

Stevia and other fake sweeteners are nasty. Here is a good thought, if you shouldnt be eating sweets then dont. If you consume anything in moderation instead of acting like a pig, its ok to eat. 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Stevia it isn’t healthy. Much less the processed one. Don’t be fooled.
