1. Wrap your coffee grounds in a coffee filter and tie it up so none of it comes out ( make 2, they should almost look like dumplings) . 2.Then put those in a pitcher with 3 cups of cold water. 3.Let it steep for up to 12 hrs and add more water in the pitcher based on your desired brew strength.

I use the aero press but the down side is that it only makes 1 small cup at a time. Extremely clean and smooth tho :)

My exact method. The whole time he was talking about the grit and sediment of the cheap methods I was waiting for him to say, "you could run it through a paper filter. At a cost of 10¢

what about the tea filter large mason jar types?????
@alexlandsbergs3 жыл бұрын
sediment isnt really an issue if you are using a coarse grind, which you should already know if you own a french press.

serious question. Why make a concentrate instead of just add more water and not concentrate it to add water later?
@livemylifestyle40674 жыл бұрын
I read that concentrates last longer in the fridge than having the diluted variant.

Do not plunge in French Press or turn the jar upside down , you just stir things up, pour the coffee slowly to another container with paper filter. If you let the jar or French Press sit long enough, the coffee bur will settle to bottom like sand in water.

Is cheesecloth durable enough to put coffee groups in and soak it for 20 hours to make cold brew coffee?

The cheap methods all have easy fixes for his problems. It's like "I"m going to do these methods half-assed, because I'm hear to sell stuff." I put my grounds in a mason jar and then filter through a paper filter a couple of times. The used filters and grounds go in my compost bin- zero plastic and super cheap.

another single purpose device? nah. I like this nutmilk bag thingy, might have to get one of these

How did the nut milk bag work out? I just picked one up for this purpose
@afroembrya5 жыл бұрын
@@ComixMultiplication I use one with a half-gallon mason jar. Works great. I brought I kit from World Market that comes with the jar and 2 very durable nut milk bags for $10. Tha bags have a really good drawstring, so I simply tie the string tightly and pop the bag in before pouring the water. No fuss, no muss
