1 diced onion
2-3 stalks of celery
4-5 boiled eggs
1.5 cups mayo
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp honey
cajun seasoning
AP Seasoning
smoked paprika
garlic powder
2 tbsps sweet relish
1/4 cup diced parsley

This was the best macaroni salad I've had in a long time. Didn't feel like waiting in line at Walmart I made this recipe with the ingredients I had at hand. I had everything except the red pepper. This time I followed step-by-step instructions. The taste was delicious I'm still checking to make sure no one else tastes it before I serve it.

Interesting that you say that he likes to wear gloves. it pretty much gives me anxiety when I see him and AB rocking out those gloves and every recipe. I just don’t see the need for it because I know they don’t use that cooking for their own tribe. and they don’t use them on the Food Network in front of all the cameras so it’s just kind of a false sense of security to me….

I remember when my late mom would make her macaroni salad in the summer. I remember her using the chopped hard boiled eggs, diced celery, but don't recall her using onions and know she didn't use red pepper (but those do sound like they'd be delicious). She did put diced sweet pickles in her macaroni salad and used the juices from the pickle jar to mix with Miracle Whip (she hated real mayo and wouldn't allow anything but Miracle Whip in the house lol) then add everything together and it was delicious. Looking back now, it's still one of my favorite memories and dishes she made (along with soo many other things she use to cook for for everyone)

I make mine similar to yours, I will incorporate the acv the next time I make. I won't be using the smoked paprika, I use regular for that. I won't be using the cajun or seafood seasoning either. You put too much salt in your food. All purpose, Cajun & Old Bay!!! Way too much salt. I love your recipes, but maybe you should warn ppl about the salt content. 😊

Your Mom & I would clash when it came to Mayonnaise vs. Miracle Whip. I live alone & miracle whip will never cross the threshold of my front door, must have onions, no boiled eggs in my macaroni/potato salad. I HATE eggs, except scrambled w/cheddar cheese, beyond that, we would get along just fine, but I have a saying: "MY KITCHEN, MY WAY; YOUR KITCHEN, YOUR WAY"!,❤️🌹

Adding vinegar to the boiling water makes the eggs easier to peel plus helps the whites to set faster.

I 💙 this recipe but I would have to leave out the Cajun seasoning and green peppers but I would add a mixture of yellow and orange sweet peppers. That's the only thing I would have to switch up! Never tried the money instead of sugar but I'm down to giving it a try. I 💙 a creamy cold macaroni pasta salad. Did u know you can buy baby shrimp 🍤 in the cans?? I didn't until my mother in law made a pasta salad with a can of baby shrimp and they were so tiny and great for the pasta salad. Very delicious 😋 too! You should give it a try. You can find the baby shrimp 🍤 in the can beside the tuna and cans of chicken. Chicken of the sea brands. Blue cans...(Drain the water of course b4 adding to ur pasta salad. Then Enjoy 😉!

Chef, this look soooo good! I usually add diced cheddar cheese (teeny cubes cut up from a block). And, some Old Bay seasoning... I'm from MD - so Old Bay goes in nearly everything! And, maybe some dill instead of parsley. What do you think?

Peas, a good BBQ seasoning and fire roasted peppers are a must after all it is a BBQ side. There are so many ways you could make it, you could slice up a brake pad and throw it in and it would probably taste good🤭
