Salt oil and water
Cook okra with a small amount of salt and oil, with enough water to use for the fungi.
Allow to cool before using.
Start cooking the cornmeal with cold or warm water with a small amount of salt and oil on medium heat. start stirring immediately to prevent lumps from forming.
Add regular water gradually until it starts thickening.
Start gradually adding water from the okra to the cornmeal and mix.
Pour some more without mixing, cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
Add more liquid and repeat.

Add the remainder of the liquid if any. Cover for 3 minutes on low heat.
Rub oil into small containers and spoon the fungi while hot and soft. Allow to cool before serving.
