We’ve got some woods 🌳 behind our house and there’s all sorts of wildlife too. I gave everyone names, Wilbur and Beatrix is the possum couple that stops by. Clarence is the tree frog who loves to sit right on my outdoors door knob, there’s an armadillo but he’s very shy and elusive. And there’s a whole posse of raccoons I call the rowdy bunch bc they are playful little creatures and pull all my glass marbles out of the bird fountain every night. I love my little porch critters

I thought I put a lot of cheese in mine but your version beats mine! I make a roux (instead of using eggs) so I can serve it right from the stove if I don’t want to bake it. Yours with the eggs firmed up nicely but still stayed creamy. I’ll have to try it. Maybe half a recipe lol.

One of my favorite side dishes i can cook just that and eat it with nothing else until it's gone. When you live in the south it doesn't matter when it comes to deer and other animals you don't have to be in the rural part to see them. Within the last week i've seen 3 deer and a fox and i'm in the middle of town.
