Mama T, you make everything look so easy, and delicious. Question: I know several people that cook their dinner in the morning for later. Do you store it in the refrigerator, and just re-heat it, or keep it sitting on the stove? I know some of them leave it out, and I don’t feel comfortable eating food that has sit out most of the day. Hello Mama T , that macaroni and cheese looks absolutely delicious. My mother Jeanette is our macaroni and cheese maker in the family for every event, every holiday , barbecue gathering whatever it doesn’t matter, she is the one that is making the macaroni and cheese and she also makes it for other families as well.. her macaroni and cheese has a little heat to it from the cayenne pepper seasoning she uses. It’s always a crowd pleaser 😊

My mom made her macaroni and cheese, like your mom did. Also, my mom always called it "cheese and macaroni." Your macaroni and cheese looks absolutely delicious. I love macaroni and cheese. But, I tend to eat too many carbohydrates. So, I rarely make unless, I am cooking for children. Most children love my macaroni and cheese that I make on top of the stove. But, I love it baked as well. My dad taught me how to make it on top of the stove, when I was a child. He was a solider and probably ate it, prepared like that in the mess hall; back in the day. Can you show us how you make cole slaw? I would like to learn how to make a tasty basic cole slaw. I've tried using cole slaw dressing in the jar. But, it wasn't quite like, I wanted it to taste. I can make an ok basic cole slaw. But, it's just not delicious. Store bought cole slaw doesn't taste fresh. Also, it is saturated in too much mayonnaise and preservatives. So, that's not an option vor me. I need to learn how to make it fresh. I love cole slaw and I enjoy it with fried fish and other seafood; hot dogs, baked beans; fried chicken; North Carolina style pork barbecue; pulled pork; ribs, by itself with saltine crackers; etc. You're a good cook who knows a lot about cooking. I like the way you cook and explain the techniques for preparing the dish. So, I figured you probably make a delicious cole slaw, too. Peace and Blessings
