Nice little tutorial, making textures is really fun. Pro tip, instead of having to search for the file path manually, you can have SFM do it for you by right-clicking the model in the animation set editor and choosing "show game model in explorer", and then just add "materials" before models in the search path. It's so much faster since you don't have to remember super long file paths.

I suppose it's kind of the same for iris textures, but that would be related more to the "how to make custom eyelids texture" also the thumbnail looks like a clothing advertisement and I'm living for it

Bless you, although i didn't expect it to be that easy when importing into texture, cuz when i tried doing this myself to eye textures they turned out... Well, like they had a whiteish haze to them, the iris looked bleached i guess, so i was afraid to try again with t-shirts.

so one question. how do i apply custom texture i downloaded from workshop?

I think this is how it works: 1. Add override materials 2. Show in element viewer: model 3. Expand materials 4. Click the plus sign next to the skin of clothing you're using to expand further 5. Right click on the name in green 6. Add attribute: string 7. Type this: $basetexture 8. If it turned pink and black checkerboard, you did it right. If not, retry, retype the $basetexture, or delete the clothing and try again (worst case you'll have to unsubscribe from the original clothing pack in the workshop and resubscribe) 9. Go back to the steam workshop and open the page listing the custom texture you downloaded. 10. Highlight the provided texture link (should end in vtf) 11. Copy and paste that link into the new blank space next to the $basetexture 12. Hit enter Sorry if my directions are a bit hard to follow, but I hope this helps!
