Thank you, thank you or making this lovely roll video!! I plan to make your rolls recipe today. I so appreciate your encouragement and inspiration that you convey in your videos. It makes us all feel confident in our bread baking endeavors! Thank you so much for sharing and caring, Jennifer! I look forward to your videos and check for them daily just in case you may have posted one! I bet I have watched your pie making ones a dozen or more times! I love to bake, so love watching your videos to pick up any tips that you may do differently than I do. I LOVE your tip on adding a couple drops of almond extract in your chocolate chip cookies. My family noticed it right away and LOVES them that way now too! Thank you so much for all you do for us, Jennifer! God’s sweet blessings to you always!

As I was trying to figure out why in the world my dough was so sticky, you talked about what to do if it's sticky or just not working out and to make em and be proud of them anyway! I laughed then told my husband "these might be the ugliest looking rolls you've ever seen, but she told me to be proud, so I'm proud!" Haha! Loved baking with you today.

Another video I loved watching and needed during this holiday season. I think I've mentioned this before to you but I lost my mom when I was 16 and just lost my mother in law in 2019..so this just makes me feel so loved like I have a mom teaching me things that mine never really got to do. I miss them everyday but holidays are hard, especially now having my own child. I want to be able to pass things down to him. Your videos are just so comforting, and I could listen to you and watch you teach me how to cook all day. Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello from the Four Corners! Our store only carries yeast that are in packet form or envelope type packaging. How many envelopes would I need to use for your recipe that calls for 3 TBL? Also, use tape measure and measure the diameter of the mixing bowl and measure height/depth of the mixing bowl. That would be very helpful. Thank you for sharing your recipe. Sharing is caring.

Hey, bakers! Please buy the 4oz jar of Active Dry Yeast (any brand will do) for all of your recipes. Then here’s the key… Keep the jar in the FREEZER. Let those little yeast babies sleep until you need them. They will keep cozy and dormant forever. Just set out a few tablespoons at a time, whatever you require for that particular recipe, let it reach room temp, then use like always. Once you have a basic roll recipe in your mind, you can add lovely things to enhance them… fruits, nuts, spices, herbs. The combinations are endless, and you really can’t mess it up! 🥰😋

I just made a new batch of bread yesterday. The hubby came into the kitchen, when I had just finished kneading and had set it to rise, remarking on how good it smelled. And before I could even say anything he noted that he knew it wasn’t baking but he could smell the dough. Plus he knew it wouldn’t be long before he got a slice of the bread hot from the oven, slathered with butter.

This recipe is so great! Made it for just my husband and I so I made half the recipe. I baked one loaf and put the other half of the dough in a freezer bag and it is now frozen. Just need to bring it out a few hours before you need it so it can thaw and rise then bake. Here are the measurements for the half recipe. To a bowl add 1 1/2 T yeast, 1 1/2 tsp sugar and add 1/2 c warm water and let it foam up. In a larger bowl add 5 c all purpose flour, 1/4 c sugar, 1 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 c oil and add 1 1/4 c warm water to determine if it’s sufficient and doesn’t get too moist depending on where you live. If it still is a little dry then add the other 1/4 c warm water (mine was too moist with the 1 1/2 c water) Hope that helps you.😊

I review your bread and cinnamon roll recipe any time I have a family gathering. My kids have requested it as tradition to have cinnamon rolls for Christmas Eve & Christmas...so of course I make the full batch. You and your family is such a light in this world. I sometimes just have your cooking videos on for just background noise. Thank you for you and your family

Thank you so much Jennifer for sharing a recipe that has been in your family for many many years. I sat and wrote it all down after watching the video numerous times so I didn't mess it up. I made some for my son and his family and for my husband and I to enjoy on Thanksgiving. Many blessings to you and Chad. Have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving ❤

Funny that I was or have been intending on looking up dinner roll recipes. You mentioned Utah & Idaho, that's where my paternal grandmother was from, she passed long before my birth. Her father was an elder and a sheriff in Idaho, they had also been connected to Utah. Nice of you to share 🙂.

It was like sitting in at the countertop and watching you cook. It was relaxing and I swear I could smell them but it must be my imagination. Fried dough and cinnamon &sugar with butter our mom could not get them out fast enough with 6 kids.

In a previous video where you make four loaves I asked you a question n a request. This vid helped. I can freeze this dough for later. Excellent. Thru your inspiring words I almost can’t wait to try this fearful task of making bread for sandwiches for my adult kids. I know, I know I’m late in learning.
