Have you tried building any props from games? For example Skyrim, or Dishonored?

Ethan Porter I have not yet. Skyrim had been mentioned to me before. Is there a particular piece of costume or armour that you would like to see me build?

Drawbridge Props & Armoury not in particular, but good suggestions that would make nice videos are things like the Hide Armour, Iron Armour, Stormcloak Armour or the Imperial Light Armour. They're simple-ish and made of normal materials

Which kind of leather do you recommend using for this?

I used vegetable tanned leather. But for these projects any leather suitable for a belt would suffice.

Where do you purchase a sheet of leather?

leatherunltd.com is my usual online source, though I prefer to choose mine in person at a local tandy

I live in Vancouver, BC so I can purchase hides at Tandy Leather, Lonsdale Leather, Pacific Leather or Labelles shoe supply locally. Tandy is probably the easiest of these to contact if you want something shipped to you elsewhere in BC. Otherwise you would have to look online for retailers that ship to your area. Technically it is not a sheet of leather as it is animal skin and not manufactured in sheet or roll form. A side (one half a cow) is usually priced per square foot but you purchase the whole side (20-28 sqft depending on how big the cow was. In this video I used natural colour vegetable tanned leather. You can dye or tool it.
