Synth, lo-fi, vocal dist, pith bend, ring modulator are some nice track effects for the drop because they completely change the way the sample sounds

Liero - Synth Lo Fi Vocal Dist are perfect combo - when I pitch bend higher, I almost always do B EQ High -20 so it doesn’t sound too chipmunky. And I also agree about Ring - usually I do it small ratio 10:90 for enhancement instead of huge distortion
