Thanks for the tutorial! It would be great if Boss could increase the number of assignations as well as add few actions such as metronome on/off and phones out volume control. Is there any way we could contact them and ask for updates on the system?

I'm not in contact with them yet unfortunately... For the phones level you can set your output level to change only the phones level

Hi Arthur. The first one Thanks for your tutorials and for all about loopstation, you are nice guy. I've been trying to make the end of one track trigger play on another, and I can't. well if it triggers but they all work like crazy. I have tried to change momentum and toogle, one shot, stop at end of loop and some other things, and they do different things but all wrong. I can't get a play / stop chain on three tracks like you do. Tell us what the secret is please, I'm going crazy :-D

Yes it is! For the midi keyboard you'll need a computer for the sounds but you can totally synch them (and send CC messages! 😱)

@@nurzatakdogan8752 a cc message is a midi message (value 0-127) that allow a device to change another device's parameter. You could trigger ableton's effects w/your loopstation for instance

When you overdub, how do you mute the parts that you overdub? Is that possible? Cause if so, this is like having 10 or more tracks instead of 5? The muting and unmuting is what I am most interested in. Is the only way to mute out a track while it is playing, is to turn down the faders? Because I know if you stop it, it will play from the beginning right? Man, I'm sorry, but there is so many questions that not alot of people can answer, because not alot of people are going to dig deep into this thing. I have one being delivered right now, and I have butterflies in my stomach just thinking about what I'm going to do with one of these bad boys. I'm just confused with the overdub and muting and unmuting the overdub or other tracks?

Hey bro I’ve been looping for almost a year now and I can tell you that a short answer for your question is : yes it is possible You can have 10 tracks on your RC 505 but you can only play 5 at once To do so, after you record your track with overdub mode go to memory and set the record to replace mode This will allow you to replace the track that you recorded when you record a new one And then when you need the first track you just toggle the undo button and press on the track that you replaced It will bring back the first one But as you can see, in this case you can’t overdub the second track recorded otherwise you will lose the first one Hope that everything was clear

So you mean that I can record one drum track, and then a completely different one on the same track, and switch from one or the other, but with no overdub, giving you 10 tracks, but 5 to play at once? That’s true Actually you can overdub the first track as much as you want but as soon as you switch to replace mode and record your second track you can’t overdub it But be careful to stop recording when you replace the first otherwise you will remove the first one Not sure if I was clear But you’ll understand everything when you try it Btw I would like to get your feedback about my 2 loopstation videos on my channel so if you don’t mind check them out when you want to Ps: I’ve progressed since I did those videos And I’m planning to release some loopstation tutorials soon

I think the tutorial was too fast-paced for my taste and should’ve had aerial camera more often, especially when you introduced foreign terms like “CC1” a lot

Understand man, don't hesitate to check out infos about CC messages. This aerial view with two loops is not very good and it would have been confusing to have them separately.
