I should have pointed out that I’m using only BARREL bushings for the rear truck, no cone bushings. I mean you can see they’re barrels but for anyone new to this stuff.

Is that independent bushing the same high rebound type as the venom? And with riptide there's the krank and the APS. So is that independent bushing their high rebound one(like APS or shr) or is it the regular formula like krank or hpf? Even though the two bushing formulas are so different with performance everyone is really quick to swap them out with each other and recommend them, some people tell me krank is better for downholl others say APS. (I go to downhillers for stability advice, only problem is people don't use DKP downhill) What do you say? Should I also go .5 inch(street) bushing for roadside to make it easier to fit with cup washers? Isn't that what Tynee did anyway?

150lb, Riptide 87A/84A bushings here. It's a really carvy setup that has a healthy amount of rebound for me. Takes a bit of getting used to riding but it's pretty stable and handles nicely in my opinion. Rear truck 1st Boardside - 1/2 height 95A bushing + Aluminum Spacer 2nd boardside - 87A barrel bushing 1st roadside - 87A barrel bushing 2nd roadside - 84A barrel bushing Front truck 1st Boardside - 1/2 height 95A bushing + Aluminum Spacer 2nd boardside - 87A barrel bushing 1st roadside - 87A barrel bushing 2nd roadside - 84A barrel bushing

I did the same thing to my RX3 when I saw your last bushings video with different front to back. The cup washers make a massive difference and I don't understand why they are fitted as standard. The RX3 curves sweetly and is super stable right up to its max speed. It only gets sketchy going downhill beyond its max speed without power. I only wish I'd have waited for the Propel Endeavour because the RX3 is a great commuter board, quiet and almost no maintenance it just doesn't excite enough. Calling them all terrain is a push, there more street boards than street boards especially in the UK. There's not enough perfect tarmac here for anything less than a big wheel. ✌️

Ive put cnc washers from exway + venom plug 95a/93a double barrel combo on atlas. The plugs are made for caliber, but if you cut them a bit they fit. Feels pretty stable

I need some help I put lock tire on the screws for the motor mount and they leaked into the motor and now is squeaky and tough to move. Can I just apply acetone or will this cause more damage and the screw to take the motor apart slips so ehh

What's the point of locking out the back? Why not just use different trucks that are more stable to begin with instead?

I’ve got a B-one Hercules and I was looking for pivot cups but I’m not sure what size. Also with the bushing “spacer” what would you recommend for a 110kg rider? The stock setting felt decent but I’m commuting and am looking for stability, I’m a newbie so any help is appreciated.

I'm 140-145 pounds. My set up was from back board side to front road side : 87 purple venom eliminator/ 87 riptide white short street barrel / 87 venom purple barrel/ 87 riptide white short street barrel/ 87 venom purple barrel/84 red short street barrel /85 venom yellow barrel/ 84 red short street barrel. cup washers on all board sides and back road sides. Sleeved washer worked on first front king pin but had to use a flat washer for second king pin because it made a loud clicking noise.

@DanielKwanExtras 3 жыл бұрын
Good question…I’m not really sure. Riptide, Muirskate, and other skate shops should at least have the common cup and flat washers. For the tighter cup washers you might have to ask them.

Except for Exway and Metroboard, all the other eskate DKP trucks are basically the same with minor cosmetic differences.

So tighten it up so much you basically creat a single kingpin truck. This is why double kingpins should not be on Eboards

You don't *have* to do this to DKP trucks to get a stable setup. If you're okay with getting used to DKP trucks you can absolutely run a really soft carvy setup. I'm on 87/84 at 150lbs and its perfectly stable for me.

Double kingpin truck are a crap design and don't belong on any esk8. Your remedy is to nullify the bottom half of the truck, why not just remove the offending piece and run the truck without the bottom half? Better yet, get a set of trucks that work right.
