This is the weirdest "gingerbread" recipe I've ever seen. I'd understand why you'd opt to use cheaper ingredients and use cocoa powder to not have to use molasses or brown sugar for the color since a lot of people don't eat their gingerbread houses (they get dusty, soft, and icing is just nasty) but not only does it likely taste bad, it bubbled up and burned, making for a bad-looking house. So if it looks bad and inedible, not sure why you wouldn't just use a normal recipe.

This is the most shocking video I have seen the way you are using the mixer and trying to clean the dough from the sides is LAUGHABLE!!! And also looks very very dry indeed
