Did I ever tell you I appeared on a cookery program in the UK in the 1990's... I had to make muffins on it! First (and last!) time I have ever made muffins....

@@SelfcareKaren that’s so cool. But why did you stop baking muffins after that?
@SelfcareKaren3 ай бұрын
@@CindysSuccess The thing is that the TV chef I was cooking with decided on muffins - at that time I am not sure I had even eaten a sweet muffin (as opposed to a savoury English muffin)... I did not win - so maybe that put me off baking myself 🤣 Truth be told: I ADORE watching people cooking... but prefer to eat than cook myself 🙈🙈

I wonder if I can get pumpkin puree here in the UK.... they look amazing!
@CindysSuccess3 ай бұрын
@@SelfcareKaren hmm? Not sure. You can always roast your own pumpkin then puree it. 😝 makes it so complicated!

@@CindysSuccess yes that would... but maybe I could substitute pumpkin for butternut squash - which I can get frozen... is the pumpkin puree pre-cooked?
@CindysSuccess3 ай бұрын
@@SelfcareKaren yes it’s cooked then pureed until very smooth.

What??? You ate raw dough??? I like your tea towel, mixing bowl and your spatula. The muffins were delicious, not overpowering and very moist. I think no extra liquid needs to be added. Have a good one

Well!! There are no raw eggs in the batter 😛 I knew you would like those items 🙄 I’m glad you like them!
