How to make Ebike charger - DIY

Hi Guys! Here is video how to make Awesome powerful Ebike charger up to 83V!
Simple design for popular and cheap Boost up voltage converter capable of taking up till 40A input power. Combine with 3 fans push-pull system runs very cool and stable even at 40A input. Paired with 12V 40A 550W computer power supply you can get 6/7 Amps on 60V or more. Paired with 24V 42A power supply you can get very powerful 12-14A ebike charger. Set up your Voltage input-output, Amps and monitor temperature directly on the coil. For lacking of time there is no screws holes in 3D printed parts you have to drill it yourself) but I will add them later as well.

For higher output, would it be better wire 4 ps's in series, providing 48v to the boost converter, or parallel, to provide higher amperage at 12v to the converter?

Great video have ordered all the parts to build a more powerful charger. Was really surprised at the cost of getting the case 3d printed was double the cost of all the other parts so will make it out of something else.

Thank you. I just looked at store bought 48V chgr for lead acid but wtf ? only 2.5 -3A?! , yet go to 20 A and you are talking $185 plus big shpg $ This is just perfect, I love the DC Booster. Been using other smaller 150W and they are near bullet proof ,....you get a decent weekend project including the 3D prints. Fantastic project and $ saving as well. Got four new Deep Cycle 20Ah and will prob err on the side of caution as far as increasing potential chg cycles. Needless to say I just debugged my first 3D P as well :-)

Great video! Thanks for posting. Does this work like a regular li-ion charger? Does the amperage drop as the voltage goes up? Would you need to constantly monitor so the batteries do not get overcharged? I'm building a 36 volt battery pack. What BMS would you recommend?

You should try ans make a UPS / Power supply backup for 3D printers in case of power outages or serge's.

So if someone was to break open the charger they got with their shark or triangle pack ebike battery. Then the internals would look something similar to yours or would it be a different type of technology? Because a lot of ebike chargers I've seen are less advanced than yours and just have an LED to show that it's charging and another to say the battery is fully charged.
