Definitely not a stupid question! But believe or not I find most of my felt in Hobby Lobby. They offer a wide range of felt.

Can a scan & cut , cut these patch’s ? To me this looks like you’d be making $2 per hour with a substantial investment in materials and machinery .

$2.00 per hour is no where near my profit margin but I’m sure a scan and cut could work.
