I have made a few of these and all those layers of fabric are quite challenging to keep aligned while sewing such a small seam. By the time I got to the 3rd coaster, I had increased the seam slightly. It helped with the sewing and didn't affect the final product much. I also made them without the batting and the extra square for the inside. I think these are even better than those silly wine glass hangers for remembering which glass belongs to which person. Just don't make them identical! LOL

I love watching Chatterbox because I get much good info. However, I question why anyone would need a coaster for a stemmed wineglass. It will leave no ring on a table. Am I missing something?

You're right, it won't leave a ring but it will help to identify which wine glass is yours if you make them all different - sort of like wine charms but in fabric.

We've used different ones over the years and I think this is a Canon DSLR or Panasonic Lumix model in this particular video - sorry, not my area of expertise ;)
