Hi Sarah, Luv your videos. I was thinking of buying a Canon PIXMA PRO-200, do I need a good printer like this for printing? What type of paper should I use, I was thinking of archival photo paper or is glossy paper as good? Regarding the Cricut machine, which model would you recommend? Thanks again.
@CraftWithSarah2 жыл бұрын
Hi Pat, I think it depends a bit on if you are making for personal use or if you are going to be selling your creations. If you are going to be selling then I'd recommend the highest quality paper out of those two. I just make for personal use and find glossy photo paper is fine. I personally like the Cricut Maker best. I have a Maker 3 but still always use my original Maker as I think it cuts better. For printers, I have a Canon PIXMA ix6850 and I like it.

Hi. Do I need a sublimation printer for this or a regular printer? Thanks x
@CraftWithSarah Жыл бұрын
A regular printer as it's just printed onto cardstock or photo paper and then put in a frame :)

Great video. Do you know how I could print these on pre folded greeting cards? As it prints the black line which I don’t need. Thank you x
@CraftWithSarah3 жыл бұрын
If you don't need to cut it with a Cricut, it would be better to design it in something like Canva, then it wont' do the black lines and you can size it to fit on your greetings cards.

Hi Sarah I love how easy it is to upload the clipart in your tutorial onto Design Space and move the clipart around to make the picture. Are there any other programmes beside Design Space that make it that easy? I would like to do A4 or larger pictures and I'm not sure that the Cricut machine would be able to print them if they were that large.
@CraftWithSarah2 жыл бұрын
Hi Diane, Canva is a great website for designing and they have a free version. You can size the designs however big you want to make them in there.

So after I get a subscription membership to the website that has the individual image pieces, I also need to get a membership on Design Space? Do I have to get a Cricut to use Design Space? I apologize for multiple questions, but I'm so interested in making these!
@CraftWithSarah3 жыл бұрын
Hi Mandi, if you are just wanting to print and frame this style of graphic then you don't need a Cricut machine - you can design them in a different program like Canva or Photoshop. This video was for Cricut owners which is why I did it in Design Space (the Cricut software). Design Space is free, but you need a Cricut to be able to cut with it.
@mandiwolfe66313 жыл бұрын
@@CraftWithSarah ahhhh, that makes sense. I will try to find a tutorial using photoshop instead. If I were to get a cricut, what kind did you use in this video? I notice they have a few different ones. Now that you've been using yours, would you still get the same one or would you choose a different one? Very enticing to up my crafting skills with that type of machine. I already thought up tons of stuff I could do with it and I don't even have one, haha.
@CraftWithSarah3 жыл бұрын
@@mandiwolfe6631 I have a Cricut Maker :) I would definitely still get that one as it's the one that has the most options in terms of blade/tool attachments and it's their "top of the range" model.

I want to make something like this but without the boy. I was also wondering, do I need a color printer, or can I do this with color on my cricut explorer air 2. I’m new to crafting and I just got my cricut.
@CraftWithSarah3 жыл бұрын
You can choose the graphics you want to add from the link under the video. You will need a colour printer to print it out, as they are "print and cut" images, not SVG files.

Check your printer settings and make sure you are printing on high quality and set the paper type to what you are using, e.g. glossy photo paper, and that might help to improve the print quality.

I really want to start making these cute photos, I’ve figured out how to download the packs however my chrome book doesn’t support any of the apps to actually make it. Do you know any laptops that would let me use the correct software to do this?
@CraftWithSarah2 жыл бұрын
It's because Chromebooks run on the Android system rather than a "proper" operating system. Any laptop that runs Windows, or a Mac, should work fine :) Personally, I like HP laptops.

@@CraftWithSarah perfect thank you! The laptop I’ve been looking to get is a HP I was just worried I would have the same problems as the chromebook. If you don’t mind could you tell me any free programmes I can use for editing these sort of prints? X
