Nice Sandra, and helpful indeed. Now I now what do with the rest of my canvas platform ;) On the Canva template, you can just duplicate the first page, and then you will have the next page perfectly lined up. Then just drag and drop the new picture over the first. That way, everything is synced automatically. The only thing unclear to me is, what happens after the download? Is cutting required or is it the final product?

Hi! I go by ratio not necessarily size. So I make a large version of multiple ratios like a 4x5 ratio I would start with 24x30 so they can also print 12x15, 8x10, 4x5 but they can’t print it at any size. Make sure you say in your listings the specific sizes they can print at or they could be upset trying to print 11x14 but part gets cut off because the ratio is off. Good luck

Hi there! I sell printables on Etsy so I can definitely help you with this. It depends on how many sizes you want to offer your customers. Etsy only allows you to upload up to 5 documents. When you create a new listing, make sure to check off "digital" and then when you scroll to the bottom, there will be a section where you upload the files that you buyers can download after purchase. Does this make sense?

You can't actually use Canva designs for commercial purposes, it's somewhere in their guidelines, but it was unclear to me too, so a while back I contacted their support and they told me so. You can only use them for personal, non-commercial use. Meaning: you can make business cards, Posters for advertising an event, flyers for your events or products, personal greeting/birthday cards, invitations and so on. But not for reproduction and selling (such as you would do on Etsy). THe difference is: if you use them on a flyer for example, you are using their designs for advertising your business or event. But you cant sell their designs per se.
@loredanamonte26544 жыл бұрын
this applies to the premium version as well btw

@@loredanamonte2654 As per their license: ''Free media 3. Permitted Uses These are the things this license permits you to do with Canva designs that contain Stock Media. g.prints, posters (i.e. a hardcopy) and other reproductions for personal or promotional purposes, resale, license or other distribution; '' This clearly mentions Resale so I believe creating commercial designs using free media should be fine. Also under One Design license (includes Canva Pro subscription) ''3. Permitted Uses These are the things this license permits you to do with Canva designs that contain Pro Stock Media. h.prints, posters (i.e. a hardcopy) and other reproductions for commercial, personal or promotional purposes, including the sale of items containing your design. For the avoidance of doubt, resale, license or other distribution of Pro Stock Media on a standalone basis is not permitted under any circumstances;'' This also clearly mentions reproductions for commercial purposes.. not sure what standalone means. I have reached out to Canva support itself to clarify. Yes its a bit messy with licensing.. It doesn't make sense to provide a platform that advertises creating your own designs but restricting it with so many caveats!
