How to Make FATALIS Easier With Dual Blades | MHW Iceborne SOLO

Thanks a lot man. Joined Monster Hunter just last month, with MHW. And here I am today, proudly telling that I killed Fatalis Solo. Initially, it was carts, then I was running up against the timer everytime and hadn't gotten my first kill after trying for weeks. Looked for help, and you delivered. I cannot express how much I am grateful. Got my first kill, then second, then third, all in a day. Just trusted what you did. Stay close, and keep attacking. Hell with baiting cones and waiting on safe attacks. Got both horns in my first run (2nd one seconds before his death), second and third runs today, I am going to third phase like you, without a horn break. Just unable to give that much damage, and I am using roaming ballista to go to town on that head. Still going to keep trying, since I can now consistently get a 26-27min solo kill. If my only 3 completions (solo) are anything to go by. Again, thanks a lot man. Earned a sub. Plus waiting on Rise to come to PC, and I'll be back to your videos.

I’ve been struggling with fatalis for days and days.. when I decided I had enough, I watched this video looking for dual blades tips... I’ve done all that is said in the video, and after 3 tempts I did it... I’ve watched also other youtuber videos, but this one changed all my battle. Just wanted to say that this video made me win, so definitely look out for this. Thx uno💪🏼

Additional tips! Bring Smoke Bombs! If you use 1-2 quickly on the Roaming Ballista at the start of phase 2, you can get off a bunch of damage without any resistance from Fatalis aside from a potential fireball; same applies to using the One-Shot Binder in phase 3 with the Smoke Bombs. If you're having trouble beating the timer and the Dragonator is ready, quickly switch to a build to put Fatalis to sleep in front of the Dragonator and place Mega Barrel Bombs; make sure they're positioned so they aren't hit first by the Dragonator, and you'll get a lot more damage from one of the spikes.

I'm 3 years late so everyone probably already knows this by now, but he will also only do the cone breath when he's standing up. So you cannot wallbang him during it. Also when he's on all 4 legs but far from you, you don't need to worry about him using it.

Watched AT velkana and fatalis quest would like to appreciate ur videos. It feels good to see someone who not trying to speed run or play like super saiyan. I'm personally convinced they made him immortal on my game. I cannot beat this snake dragon with LS, no matter how many times I get to that music change. Maybe it's time to try DB, I was going to do the angbatas ZSD spam strat, but I like DBs better. When I work up the courage to get my cheeks clapped again, I'll give your build a shot. Thanks again!

Honestly, that was me for the longest time. During that death montages I would die a couple of times but then just kept running out of time. You will get it eventually, trust me.

You could try building his armor first,It honestly makes the fight more manageable if your deco is really good (of course the evil eye is gonna be a pain to get but I heard plunderblade can get it so)

If anyone had some trouble hitting fatalis with the cannon at the start, I'm pretty convinced at the event quest his position is a bit more to the right of the screen than the special assignment (I might be wrong tho, but when I dive into the event quest after clearing the assignment, I missed all of my cannon although it was in the usual position like when I was doing the assignment)

I got my Fatalis solo kill today with Greatsword, at MR88. I think this is one of the best fights the MH team has released. Very fair, yet undeniably challenging. Had just over a minute left on my timer, though my gear was very sub-optimal. Also, subbed as I like your energy. & where do I know that outro music from?

How do you clutch claw and weaken with out fully clutch clawing? It just seems like a normal attack, I play on keyboard and mouse by the way.

With the Dual Blades, if you do the slingshot move (then one when you spin whole moving) while in demon mode, you hit that button 3 times. You will spin, then spin while jumping and you will spin while jumping again, after that third move, hit whatever button you use that aims your clutch claw and you will to the instant clutch claw attack. Just make sure to immediately attack once you land on the monster or you will end up doing a regular clutch claw attack. Hopefully that helps
