How to Make Faux Leather Cover for Custom Pocket Junk Journals as a Junk Journal gift

I've seen others use the oxide inks to color the paper bag for the cover of journals but I haven't seen the use of a green color mixed in with the browns and blacks until now. I think I like that! Perhaps because it reminds me of patina? Idk. Thanks for your version of the faux leather process!
