HOW TO MAKE FIG PIE/ GREEN BANANA CASSEROLE || FRUGALLYT

Welcome back to my channel. Today I made what is called Fig Pie in most of the southern Caribbean. What we refer to as fig is not the fruit but green bananas.
With thanksgiving coming up this week I thought I could give an alternative side. Though this recipe may be different from what is usually done, I decided to put my own spin on it. Hope you enjoy and don’t forget to LIKE COMMENT SUBSCRIBE
INGREDIENTS:
4 green bananas
1 cup shredded codfish
4oz sharp cheddar
8 oz Trinidad rindless cheese
Black pepper
Chopped onion
Chopped bell peppers
Chopped green onion
Thyme
Parsley
1 tbsp Goya adobo
1/2 tbsp Seasalt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp olive oil
Total cook time(prep included) 1 hr
