Sounds amazing 😊. I once made them with feta, oregano, and pickled chilies. Maybe I should try the Palestinian way, with olive oil, zaatar, and maybe some mint and turnip ❤️. Is it like manakieshes?
@rishoemaker74102 жыл бұрын
@@KuzinaWithSimo Not really! I use zaatar as the filling. Sprinkle some before folding it and use olive oil to cook it. Yummy 😋

Can I use whole wheat flour? Thank you for sharing. I'm planning to make the Harira and the msmen bread this Ramadan Insha Allah 😊
@KuzinaWithSimo10 ай бұрын
Yes you can. I suggest using a mix of whole wheat and all purpose, just so that you don’t have a problem with the dough. Full whole wheat flour might be a little harder to work with. Let me know how it goes. Mbrouk 3wachrek!!!

Can you make this without using semolina?
@KuzinaWithSimo2 жыл бұрын
Yes. They will be a little softer but you should be fine. I would go light on the filling because without the semolina they can tear up easily. I hope that helps !

Oh maybe someday... maybe I should get a breadmaker... maybe I need a bigger kitchen. I got a lot of kitchen stuff... air fryer, pressure cooker, microwave... geez you make me want to get a breadmaker... Beautifully shot video btw! How do you prevent the lens from getting fogged up? Looks like Korean scallion pancakes...
@KuzinaWithSimo2 жыл бұрын
I love having a bread maker ! Bread is so easy to make once you have one. It’s easy to get cheap and good bread in Germany but if I was in the US I would always make bread at home. Thanks ! Took a long time to film and edit because it’s very technical and you need to a lot of things but came out great 😊. There is something with the iPhone lenses that prevent fogging up. I bet they use some type of glass that doesn’t remain fogged up for long. Next time I should filled them up with some chopped kimchi. One My favorite fillings is crumbled feta, oregano, pickled chilies, and olive oil. So damn good 😄
