Thanks for simple self explanatory video on Ram Pump.
@Sumansatya215 жыл бұрын
Ram pumps have been around for many decades and are popular for two main reasons: 1.They need no external source of power -- the force of moving water gives them the power they need. 2.They are extremely simple, with just two moving parts. The basic idea behind a ram pump is simple. The pump uses the momentum of a relatively large amount of moving water to pump a relatively small amount of water uphill.

This free electric energy hydraulic dual Ram pump or hydram is a complete automatic device that uses the energy in the flowing water such as spring, stream or river to pump part of the water to a height above that of the source. How is this an improvement? I'm not trying to be a jerk. I'm sorry if it comes across that way. I like your ram pump, but don't understand what you're improving with this. The through put of the pipe doubles by having 2 in parallel, but you'd get more water through a single pipe with wider diameter than 2 identically sized pipes because the volumetric throughput is by a cubic exponential rate for each unit of diameter increase. The volumetric throughput of multiple same size pipes increase linearly for each new pipe added. Also the cost of double the number of brass check valves greatly increases pump cost.

Its a 1 to 7 ratio. For every 1 foot of drop (or head) that you have, you will be able to raise water around seven feet. Its generally used in creeks or rivers to transport water upwards or long distances. It depends on the size of the pump and how much water your thinking to move.
