Its as dangerous as the fuel in a vehicle, the vapor runs the engine not the liquid, carburetors, and injectors are not as efficient as using straight atomised vapor. Its proven you can get 100-300 miles per gallon if done right.

It's not LPG but petrol fumes, built one for myself to experiment. I was worried about flash back (flames going back into the tube). So I added a simple regulator and increased the air pressure slightly. To make the fuel burn more effectively, I added more oxygen to the base of the flame. Overall; a greatly and innovative project. For people who are not innovative and does rely only in theories that this setup is dangerous then don't do anything like this. However for people who knows to take precaution and improve the safety of this setup then good for them. You are not making LPG gas, all you are doing is using the air pump to make the gasoline bubble and that gasoline vapor/bubbles go through the pipe to the water, there they bubble again and finally that gasoline vapor/bubbles go through the pipe to the burner/stove. It's not LPG Gas (Butane/Propane) it's gasoline vapor. If you don't believe me then take a bottle fill it 3/4 of the way full and try to light the top without touching the liquid gasoline. What you will see is the gasoline vapor burning. Gasoline is a highly volatile gas which means that it turns into vapor easily. The water bottle in the video more or less acts like a flashback arrester so if the flame somehow goes back into the bottles it won't explode.

When you think about it this should actually work: Gasoline evaporates. Bubble the evaporated gasoline through water. There is no direct connection between the gasoline and the water. If you can replace the battery pump you have a long lasting off-grid stove.

Allot of negative comments but the implications are potentially profound. Have a large 5 gallon container outside of the house far away, run tube into home which has little actual gas that can "blowup" and heat a pile of ceramic or lava rocks in an insulated "chimney/stove" to emanate heat into home. This is actually brilliant. Is it free.. no, but who cares, if it's only costing $1-2 per day then it's cheaper than electric, oil, and gas. Imo.

From other comments, it looks like it might burn through a whole night of heat. Possibly $1 a night. Would be critical to run long enough hose to have petrol outside and heart source enclosed in vented chamber like Woodstove. Few tweaks for back up emergency heat or cook set up tho.

I like the video a lot, But TITLE WAS the WRONG ACCUSATION part. LPG is cheaper but petrol is costlier....!, there is no chemical reaction is happening here ...! Atleast petrol is not mixing directly with the water.... then how can it change from one state to another state of liquid Motor blows the air in petrol, this creates the pressure in the petrol bottle ... ( Petrol evaporates in normal air ) but due to the motor pressure petrol becomes air and goes into the water and comes back again to stove as " gas fuel " thats all.. GUYS --- go to kitchen and light the gas stove & see the color of the gas flame its " BLUE & cyan and orange " . now see the the color of the flame in this video.....! LPG contains liquids like : propane ,butane ,methane and ethane.... it cannot be converted from petrol & water. This is what happens inside the Bike & vehicle petrol engine , like spark plug ignites fire from gas of the petrol .... Even if this was a working model you can see from the flame that the fuel isn’t burning correctly...... which means it is producing CO (Carbon Monoxide). - DON’T do this is an enclosed space!!!! To burn a fuel properly you need a specific quantity of fuel/air mix - and delivered at the correct speed.

It is an air pump, it forces the petrol to give of fumes in to the water bottle, this acts like a filter and a blow back arrestor to stop the petrol getting a flash back, if you add a non return valve after the water bottle to a T pipe , and place a car innertube without the valve inside, then the spare to a on/off valve then the burner you can store gas in the innertube by closing the on/off, when the innertube inflates with the gas you can then use the extra pressure as the innertube deflates.

Ok, this video is completely wrong. The fumes that are burning on the burner is evaporated petrol fumes, not LPG gas. Liquid petrol is not flammable, only the fumes are. The water only serves as a bubbler to prevent flashback. It is also less efficient because you are using the additional energy from the battery to power the motor to push the fumes through the tube.

You are right. Pumping air through plastic tube could be dangerous too due to electrostatic charge that may develop in tube.

It seems to have been lost to history , but Petrol Gas was in common use for domestic lighting and cooking ,particularly in more rural areas, in the early part of the last century before electricity was widely available. It worked by a water powerd fan blowing air over a pan of petrol , I have an old DIY book with instruction on how to build one .
