I have a quick tip of my own regarding the tomatoes. When coating them in the eggs and powders, keep one hand as the dry hand and one as the wet hand. That way, both of your hands don't get multiple coats themselves. It doesn't work for everyone, but it does work for me whenever I need to fry things.

Bri, this time elapsed video was fantastic!! I cant believe how well it came out, you really put your all into it. Im so glad Justin and Rebecka Rhodes intrduced all of us to you and Art, even though your both homesteading your video's are different. But in a very good way, so it makes watching you both extremely enjoyable. Your children are very well behaved, you are instilling great educational values into your children that they will take with them wherever they go in life. Thank you for sharing, and green fried tomatoes are some of my favorites. Thanks and May God Bless you and Art and the children keeping you all healthy and safe from harm.

Grandpa here. The caterpillar-chrysalis transformation WAS incredible. It wasn't typical, though, as far as I can tell. He/she started shedding while in the J formation. All of mine were limp and hanging straight down. The beech branch was a good idea for them to hang on. The leaves are prettier on the other side, probably. Gracie was sad that the caterpillar was "gone." That's how a parent feels when their child leaves home. Maybe Gracie will be happy again when she sees the butterfly emerge in a week or two. I like the end cap of your video today with a chrysalis forming and another caterpillar roaming around frantically looking for a place to settle to weave its silk pad, the one it will hang on.

When I was teaching Ben years ago we were studying the monarch and went outside to sit in the swing. There beside us was a monarch popping out of his cocoon in our orange tree. It crawled into our hands. Lol that was a great memory - sandy

It's a fried dill pickle, whole and you slice it into rounds like Bri did with the tomatoes. Bread it like she did fry it up. Delicious. I like to add a cajun seasoning to my pickle and tomato breading. You can season your breading however you like to taste.

It's nice to meet friends we moved here last year and trying to meet Homeschoolers and friends to be able to hang out with. One thing moving here is ppl are to themselves idk if that's good or bad.
