Shrimp toast and fried egg is amazing!! They look like I've seen in Thailand. btw, for Gapao, chilli, garlic , holy basi, and nam pla (fish source) is enough. stay safe :)

As I’m Thai I could say that both Krapao and Kanompangnakung (Shrimp toast) looks delicious! You did so great! but fyi actually original Krapao we will not put that bean in T.T and nowadays some of Thai people still arguing about the bean that we should put it in or not hahaha

Oh this shrimp toast is different from what I had, I don't think it had pork, but it was like a mini sandwich, I like this thinner one better I think, I think I want to try this one. Thank you for sharing :)

I am your fanclub from Thailand and I very like how you make kaproa rice so here is a little tips! -Thai basic&original Kaproa will need only pork or chicken,Holy Basil,Chilli Garlic,Fish Sauce and some sugar if you want. (However,if you want to make it colorful you can add some veggies such as string bean or baby corn.) -I reccommend you to use crispy pork belly if you want to make it more yummy.) FYI Original Thai Gapao Rice don't need to use Beans or Tomato, just use Garlic, Red Chilli, Thai Basil, Mince Pork and Sauce.

@@tedlovejesus Bean can be used but it will not be original Gapro. Frozenology is right, original is only Thai Basil. Also no shallot ! We will not put shallot in this dish. Some thais can feel triggered when we saw ppl cook Gapro with beans, tomato, carrot and any veggie than just Gapro. (Including me) same feeling as Italalian with pineapple on pizza😂 But then again, we also take it easy if someone put those veggie in, just taste will surely not same as original one.

So in a world trying to cut down on single use plastics you put bread in that much plastic just so it will remain perfectly square instead of using a knife on a bagged loaf to cut it square. You're cutting it into tiny squares anyway and frying it. Wasteful and probably a more expensive way to do this. 🤦
