So good thanku. Ghee is so expensive and once again you show us how simple it is to get the best value out of your dollar.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is how to properly make Ghee. I see so many American KZbinrs using their oven to do this and calling it Ghee, when in reality all they’re making is clarified butter and a huge mess. Great video, thanks! P.S. thanks for the recipe at the end 👍

I'm glad you showed how you use the ghee, because I've seen it in stores before and wondered what and how to cook with it

Hello from Southern Maryland. New sub to your channel. That dish looks absolutely delicious. And those jars of ghee… pure gold indeed. Thank you for sharing these two amazing recipes.

I've been enjoying your videos for a couple weeks now. I'm from the Allegheny mountains of Western Maryland. I was also searching how to make ghee correctly as the price has just gone nuts. I came across a lot of promoted channels and I just thought that they were not processing it correctly from the lack of straining to how quickly they were finished with very little to skim off the top. The "liquid gold" just did not look like Liquid Gold. Thank you so very much for the proper method and the breakfast looks very tasty 🙂

Thank you for a nicely presented video. I love making ghee - I learned about it in 2021 after I became lactose intolerant. I have made it many ways: stovetop, oven, Instapot (on Manual with the lid off you can make 4.5 pounds in 45 mins), and the crockpot. As I write this comment, I have 3.5 pounds of butter bubbling away in my Crock Pot and it should be done in 6 to 7 hours. I like all the ways to make it, depending on my mood, but the oven way is not for me. I love your tips and the way you make it very much. Thanks again and keep having fun in the kitchen. :)

Thank you so much! I really must try the crock pot way but I will have to buy one first. I miss not having one, mine broke.

What kind of temp setting is it on for the Instapot? I have Crockpot Express (different brand) but there is a simmer option now...would that be suitable?

Thanks for this video! The meal you made at the end with the Gee looks like what's been called "Bubble and Squeak". I think it is a term used to describe fried up leftovers. Not sure where the term comes from. Maybe British? Love you videos.

HI STACEY I made the ghee but unfortunately it stuck to the bottom of the pot?? I used Market butter from TWH .I didn't realise till I drained it . The colour has set golden hard(ish) but the bottom has a blackness although it doesn't taste burnt? When I strained it I noticed the bottom? I didn't stir it so have no idea? I kept heat low ...I used the first bit this morning making my roast chicken .....it tastes and acts just like ghee ...I did lose quite a bit with such a big build up on the bottom. Loving your channel..Its real..so real and so easy to relate to.Thanks again
@FarmersWifeHomestead
@FarmersWifeHomestead 7 ай бұрын
Hello, and thanks for your message. It might have needed to be a bit lower in heat. As long as it doesn't have a burnt taste it should be ok. Also, I find that the ghee doesn't set to a hard consistency. I hope that helps and thanks for watching :-)

@@FarmersWifeHomestead ignore the haters, your video was just fine. Maybe one day Paula will start her own KZbin channel and show the world how it’s done. I won’t hold my breath; people like her are generally angry with life anyway. Keep up the nice work!
