How to Make Grass, Trees, and Fluff for Blender and Unreal Engine

I made a tutorial awhile back for grass in Blender, but that video absolutely sucked.
This video should hopefully not suck as bad since I actually know what I'm doing this time. If you have problems let me know. I will attempt to answer.

There's a two sided option in unreal material - this way you dont have to double the meshes 👍

I find the normals sometimes get messed up when enabling that on grass or leaves. I think it's still best to duplicate them and flip them.

I watched a video about that it’s probably outdated but in the vid I swear I heard some guy say he did it the duplication way because the option in unreal takes up more resources or something.

When I add the Data transfer modifier the grass don't look the same way that's look in your video :c. The grass texture is an image import as a plane, right? It's so cool what you did!

It should be fine to use important as image. Does the object you're copying the normals from with the data transfer have enough polygons/subdivisions? Sometimes I've had it get confused with what to copy.

I don't know why but the data transfer doesn't give me your ''flat effect'', it just stays the same :/
