I'm from AZ but live in Cyprus. This recipe is legit. Every family or restaurant has their own recipes, but you don't mess with the sauce. Love you and this channel.

That looks soooo good! I bet it's better then a restaurant. I have to say, I like how you seem to be genuine, not fake. A lot of these channels OVER react adding too much goofy content. Here it's calm and real with no annoying music. 😊👍

Did not turn out as pretty as yours but had a good flavor. Mine fell over. Since each oven is different I might need to go at a higher temp. Took off the picks and added better than bullion chicken with broth chopped it up and let cook a little more. Seemed raw in in few places. It tasted really good though. May try again sometime.

Thirty years ago, I attended a dinner party at the home of a Lebanese couple recently arrived in the US. I never had tzatziki before and fell in love. I begged for the recipe. She taught me to cut the cucumbers in tiny chunks which is still how I make it. I use full fat plain yogurt made in my Instant Pot. I don't add oil or vinegar, but will add citrus and plenty of crushed garlic, salt and pepper. By the way, the "chicken tower" is so clever. I'd never have thought of doing that but I sure will now!

Can you do some easy pressure cooker recipes? More specific, meals for a single mom and never ending appetite of my 15 year old son!
@tomsparks60992 жыл бұрын
Love this effort. Make real lamb and beef gyros. Easier than chicken -- using a loaf pan and a brick. Lots of Cypress spices like marjoram and peppercorns. Tsatziki is the easiest sauce to make outside a vinaigrette.

As a Turk, it makes me sad that yoghurt and even many Turkish dishes are known as Greek.
@The_Timinator2 жыл бұрын
Way more Greeks in the USA than Turks, so first come first served, Greeks claimed Gyros 80+ yrs ago here, so who are we to judge?
@AimForMyHead81 Жыл бұрын
Maybe if you hadn't occupied them for 4 centuries, they wouldn't have a rightful claim over your cuisine? Don't forget that much of Turkey's cuisine is a continuation of Byzantine cuisine. Don't play a victim.
@muratyavuzeth Жыл бұрын
@@AimForMyHead81 We call this conquest, not occupation. Just like you did before us.Secondly, to say that Turkish cuisine is a continuation of Byzantine cuisine, one must either not know Turkish cuisine or be a retarded manipulator.

@tarahazelrigg64675 ай бұрын
She sorta did…2 cucumbers(pitted, chopped and drained), 1 cup Greek yogurt, juice of 1/2 lemon, a couple (or a few) of crushed garlic cloves, it looked like a Tbsp of fresh dill and then drizzle with olive oil to taste, salt and pepper. I would add a couple of fresh mint leaves and a splash of white wine vinegar, if I had it! Hope this helps 😊
