My partner lives 4 and 1/2 hours away. We knew when we first got together he was moving due to his job. We just make it work and try to see each other every other week for 3 to 5 nights (if our work schedules permit it). I felt that he loved me weeks before he told me. By his actions I knew it. He also texts and tells me in person the sweetest things. A man doesn’t say “our kissing is so deeply passionate and loving it literally feels like we are in Heaven. “ or “dream of me tonight as I will dream of you.” Then when we do see each other he holds me so tightly for a long time. I am very secure in our relationship.

I love my best friend and I just got up the courage to tell him how I feel. That I felt the same way when he told me he liked me 6 years ago just before he got in a serious relationship it was fast. I didn't get to tell him then because I was shocked speechless. Though it got serious it didn't last our friendship got stronger and we keep in touch he always sends me stuff to make me laugh and he's one of the only people that calls me. When I finally told him he said why are you just now telling me. I said I been thinking about it lately and had to tell him. He said only thing is I'm in Missouri now. He recently moved and is settled now. I'm in Texas but it's not like I wanna stay here my whole life cuz I dont.

I’ve been with my guy a year. He still hasn’t said he loves me and I know a lot of it is due to his past relationship. However, actions speak louder than words. He has done things for me that not any man would do unless he truly cares. Some guys have a hard time vocalizing how they feel and prefer to show it in the way they act. I much rather have a man show me that he loves me than say it. No words are needed in that scenario :)

Ally Cidre it’s true. Do u want a man that treats u like crap and says he loves you or doesn’t say it and gives u the world? Very simple. I’m frustrated at times but I know how my man is. He is scared to vocalize his feelings. If he is providing love and support, trust it.

@@gypsywolf2061 I can absolutely relate to this. I acutally just had the courage to talk about this subject with my partner, as it was making me a bit insecure after having rather bad relationships. He is the first man in my life who doesn't say "I love you" often (he said it 2x in the whole time), but his actions show me he does. As no man would do these things for a person he doesn't love. And to read that there are more women with this experience is reassuring😅

Trust me I'd rather have a man that shows me love doesn't say I love you than a man that doesn't show me love but says I love you . Especially when they say it way too fast. Don't worry if he you feel his love then u know u have it and he'll say eventually.

I disagree with the calling him comment. I phoned my boyfriend first - I think I caught him off gaurd tbh. We’d been going out a couple weeks and talked about how we like to communicate; he expressed that he liked variety. Texts, audio notes, pictures, Memes, and phone calls. I decided to take him up on that and phoned him the next day. I called him, he was at the gym and sounded pretty surprised to hear from me but clearly wanted a full conversation. We talked for a few mins and he asked if he could finish up and then phone me back. We ended up on the phone for about 2 hours. Since then, he’s called me every day and we talk about 1.5 hours, even on the days we’ve hung out together. It felt like he just needed the permission to know that it was ok to phone me. I don’t think it comes across as unfeminine, and I’ve never had to do it again after that first time. But then again, that’s when it’s with the right person.

#askmark Omg! Thank you so much! I've been contemplating ending a relationship because I'm in love with him. I didn't want to start a relationship. Wasn't looking and especially didn't expect to catch the feels ... He's been alone awhile but only finalized divorce a few weeks ago. He's got kids. I've none. I've never wanted any of my own but a lot of that is about my genetic circumstances. If I meet the right person, I'd love to love the kids as they're parts of the one I love. We've been taking things slow since the duel houses are new for the kids. I'm not in a hurry to meet them because I only want to if I'm certain I'll be a part of their lives awhile.... Sall, I spent years dealing with deep-rooted insecurities from childhood and beyond. I was self-sabotaging my relationships when those little voices in my head would start nagging at me. I know that 9 times out 10 of the time, it's my problem. I can't lay it at his feet when he is giving me no reason to feel insecure. I have started dissecting the feelings. What are the emotions I'm feeling? What brought them on? Are they really valid? I have talked myself out of a number of things that ended up not being a real issue. I wish you luck. Realizing it's your issue, not his, is the first step to healing those insecurities. ❤

Remove all his pics. Write down all his negatives traits..all the things that annoyed you...and the things you wanted to do with him that you never did. Then each time you get the feels for him get the list out read thru it. Because he is your ex for a reason. He wasn't giving you something you needed. And keep busy. Quiet time is when ex thoughts tend to sneak in.😊

Hi Mark, i love ur video and i hope u answer me. I have been in a relationship swith my colleague since April 2019, but with a cold and super busy man. He can skip replying to my messages for weeks just because he is busy. In Feb 2020 i tried to explain that to him, he just ignored me (as usual) then i stopped texting. He tried to contact me in May 2020 but i didnt replied. And since then he is avoiding me at work. I know that things are over, and i should let go, but i cant.
