Kim first let me thank you so much for sharing the important information you share and taking the time out of your busy life to help us out. Secondly I am a nurse but decided I love making soaps and such. I get very angry and I am a Christian lady but I get angry when I see rude comments toward you cause frankly to some people your criticized if you do and criticized if you don't. Just know this...some people will always find fault cause they are so perfect but the most of us out here love, respect, support and appreciate your knowledge and commitment to us. Your a fantastic teacher and we just love you.

You are so fun to watch. Down to earth and fearless. Love your videos. Thank you for the recipe...and for those who said you didn't give the night cream recipe, that is explained at about 30:40. Double the oils and reduce the water. You can also double the vitamin E and Glycerin. Adjust water accordingly.

Thank you so much. I finally get it. Reading about how to make lotion and listening and watching are very different. I use distilled water and in my mind I feel safer but of course one still needs preservative. I know this video is years old but I sympathize. I'm so tired after making my batches of soap and so forth that I feel like I hit a brick wall and have to stagger to bed! Bless you!

Strangely enough OG JENNY words are as dangerous & deadly as some plagues-certainly those of certain mindsets are. The paper towels, the packaging for paper towels aren't always as sterile as one would hope & are most definitely not airtight hence not certifiably clear of any & all germs. The point was to ensure no bacterium gets into any container at any step to avoid mold growth in the end product. As she's using a more natural preservative, which only elongates the shelf life of the oils & does not actively seek to destroy bacteria present. To avoid getting hair, sloughed skin & sweat-should be wearing gloves, a hair net & goggles at the very least. Can you imagine opening a jar to find an eyelash or worse?

Awesome video, and excellent job explaining the sanitizing steps! For all those asking for the Recipe, shame on you! Not only is she not required to give out her Recipe, since this is her Business... But she DOES give the Recipe. You just have to watch the video to get the Recipe. She gives her full recipe (including all oils/ingredients and percentages of everything), and goes into everything in detail. But you have to watch the video. I will not write it out because asking means you did not watch the video long enough to see the recipe. It's extremely hard to miss.

A good recommendation that I found and use is to wash the jars and lids in the dishwasher, and to wear the disposable surgical gloves that you can buy at Walmart.
@MsButterflysting5 жыл бұрын
Washing them in the dishwasher at that high of a heat melts the sealant used in the lids, rendering them not only useless but also risking leaking of fumes or other chemicals into the plastic & end product.

Honey, as someone who dabbles herself, I loved your video. I do all the washing and sanitation but I wear latex gloves to protect my hands from all the washing and alcohol. May I ask, have you looked into Naticide preservative? It is broad spectrum but derived from almond nuts; no formaldehyde, no parabens and apparently, it’s so natural you have to list it as ‘fragrance’ on your ingredients! 😃. Just a thought hun, cos I want to be as natural as possible too and Naticide is effective at 0.5% - 1%. Thanks 🙏🏿 so much for sharing hun xx

Thank you.
