Hi thank you for sharing this. I am very interested in making sake too. One question is, have you tried to add more rice to the leftover rice paste you filtered out sake? Do you think we can make more sake with that ?

Everything we’ve read says to dispose of the leftover mash (kasu) after brewing. We’ve made several batches but start the process over each time. You can use the mash for other things like making soaps, lotion, face masks and even soups!
